About the ECCU Scholarship Program

 

Education has the power to change lives, and at Energy Capital Credit Union, we’re proud to support students who are taking the next step in their academic journey. Each year, ECCU awards 4 scholarships to graduating high school seniors and college students who demonstrate academic commitment, community involvement, and strong character. This program is part of our long-standing mission of people helping people.

Whether you’re preparing for college, technical school, or continuing your education, we’re here to help you move forward with confidence.

 

Who Can Apply 

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a current Energy Capital Credit Union member.

  • Not a member yet? You can easily open an account with ECCU to become eligible by clicking here.

  • Be a graduating high school senior or continuing education student.

  • Plan to attend school during the upcoming academic year.

  • Demonstrate academic achievement and community involvement.

Scholarship Details

In order to Apply you must submit a short essay or a video on one of three topics:

  • How has being part of a community, family, school, or organization, impacted who you are today?

  • What does “investing in your future” mean to you, and how are you doing that today?

  • Your generation is shaping the future. What can credit unions do to better engage, support, and earn the trust of students and young adults?
